The Events of Prestige is a collaboration of friends, Alexis Smith and Natasha Thomas. Founded in 2003, Events of Prestige is a premier full service event coordination company, specializing in all phases of wedding coordination and event design. Alexis and Natashas mission is to translate their clients ideas, personal style and vision into an unforgettable day. With the myriad of details and attention that must go into coordinating a stunning wedding or event, both Alexis and Natasha are poised to help expertly manage all details in both an efficient and exquisite manner. Their caring demeanor's help to make the often stressful wedding planning experience be a pleasure from start to finish.Originally from Alabama, Natasha has carried with her that unmistakable Southern charm and opulence into her life as an event planner. Natasha is a graduate of Clayton State University and has earned her Bachelor of Science in Integrative Studies in Business Management and Marketing. Meanwhile, thousands of miles away, Alexis was raised in Connecticut, on the traditionally fast-paced, chic East Coast. When college brought her to Atlanta, Alexis fell in love with the city and found her new home. Alexis attended Clark Atlanta University and Devry University of Keller where she received a Bachelor of Arts and Science, A Bachelors of Technical Business Management in Finance and a Masters of Accounting and Financial Management. Although, each takes pride in their professions as Tax Accountants, being esteem owners of Financial Guardian Group, LLC. , they have a profound respect for their passion of event planning and have taken this forte to the next level.Similar social circles brought Alexis and Natasha together in 2003, when they met as members of the same fraternal organization group. With both women having a penchant for parties, they combined their skills and complimenting diverse backgrounds to form Events of Prestige. Now, with over 12 years of combined event planning and wedding coordination experience, Alexis and Natasha bring together the perfect mix of modern style and traditional elements to help clients plan the wedding of their dreams.
